A lot of people find wearing colored contact lenses easy, but taking care of them isn’t always as simple! You need to be careful and clean to keep your colored contacts comfortable for a long time. Here’s a quick guide for both new and experienced users. Wearing your colored contacts the wrong way can lead to irritation or even damage to your eyes and the lenses. So let’s make sure we get it right!

STEP 1: Check Your Colored Contacts from Outside the Bottle

Sometimes, damage to colored contact lenses isn’t visible right away. We always inspect them before shipping, but it’s a good idea for you to double-check:

• Is the bottle cracked or damaged?
• Do the colored contacts look smooth without any tears?
• Do both contacts have the same color?
• Also, check the expiration date on the bottle.

About Bottle Labels
Some labels might look a bit scratched or faded due to the production process. This doesn’t affect the quality of the colored contacts. Even if the label doesn’t match the website, don’t worry—it’s still the same product. If there’s a problem, contact us, and we’ll help you with a replacement!

STEP 2: Opening the Bottle

Remove the plastic cap and the metal seal underneath. Be careful when opening—use scissors if needed, but be mindful of the sharp edges.

STEP 3: Preparing Your Colored Contacts

Before wearing your colored contacts, make sure you:

• Wash your lens case with a multipurpose solution (MPS).
• Soak the colored contacts in MPS for at least 8 hours before wearing them for the first time. This makes sure they are clean and safe for your eyes.

STEP 4: Keep It Clean

Here are some tips to keep your colored contacts clean and safe:

• Wash your hands with soap before handling your colored contacts.
• Make sure your hands are dry and free of soap residue.
• If you wear makeup, put in your colored contacts first.
• Avoid using hairspray or perfume near your colored contacts.

STEP 5: Putting in Your Colored Contacts

If you're new to wearing colored contacts, it can feel tricky, but don’t worry—follow these steps:

• Make sure your hands are clean and nails are short.
• Use a mirror and check that the colored contacts are not inside out.
• Insert the right lens first.
• Use your index finger to place the colored contact on your eye.
• Hold your eyelids open with your other fingers and insert the lens carefully.
• Blink a few times to let the colored contact settle.

Reminder: Make sure the colored contacts aren’t inside out, or they’ll feel uncomfortable.

STEP 6: Comfort and Care

While wearing colored contacts, check if your eyes feel dry. If they do, use eye drops to moisturize.

• If your colored contacts feel uncomfortable, take them out and soak them in MPS for at least 8 hours.
• If discomfort continues, switch to a different contact or contact us for help.

Friendly Reminders:

• Don’t wear colored contacts while swimming or in the sauna.
• Don’t wear them for more than 8 hours.
• Never sleep with your colored contacts in.
• Don’t share your colored contacts with anyone.

STEP 7: Taking Out Your Colored Contacts

Make sure your hands are clean, then:

• Remove the right contact first.
• Use your thumb and index finger to gently pinch the colored contact out.

STEP 8: Cleaning and Storing Your Colored Contacts

After wearing your colored contacts, store them properly:

• Use the lens case we provide.
• Clean the case with MPS, not tap water.
• Soak the colored contacts in fresh MPS and store at room temperature.

Fun Fact: If you use cute lens cases, replace them every 3 months to prevent bacteria buildup. Also, change the solution daily to keep your colored contacts clean and fresh!

Reminder: If your vision is blurry on the sides, it’s probably due to the lens design, especially with smaller diameters. Your eyes will adjust over time, but if the blur is in the center, contact us for help.
